~§ic Update November 13th~

§ickos!!!

To all of our §ic Members, Fans, and Acquaintances.

Greetings, children of all online gaming realms! Throughout the course that this group has taken, we’ve established nearly 11 different branches on multiple different gaming platforms…from first person shooters all the way across the board to role playing games, and strategy based to name a few. Many of these games, included such regimes that are filled with group ranking systems that tip the scales in favor of larger groups that are solely regarded under the fact that they possess the most money and have the largest congregation of overly-powerful half wits. It’s not all of these types of high ranking guilds…just a vast majority. Perhaps its by socio-economic standard that these groups forget what it means to be a gaming clan. Call me, as a leader biased if you may…but at the same time- I myself have never been predominantly manipulated by the sway of monetary value. No matter how much military force you think you might have…no matter how much cash value you place on getting things done with those people; the will or resolve of a group always remains the determining factor in all types of war. As proven in Vietnam, no matter what type of strength in brute force you possess in the field of combat, you can never be prepared to fight an enemy who has a morale far greater than your own. They will outlast your fury far longer than you ever thought possible and through pure perseverance will cut holes in your plan, one step at a time. Unfortunately, this is a lesson not retained by the modern gaming legions you find today. Their codes are loosely based on what kinds of number crunches they can throw together and pseudo-scientific politics based on stats and lobbying. The more cash they can accumulate faster, leads to a larger force of drones who are without leadership abilities and the will to pull their forces out of a slump that would otherwise be considered the death of most guilds. The §ic, has succeeded in all these fields and more in the sense that we place little value on money. Just because you have a large amount of in game cash does not change the fact that if you have no type of organization or a level of respect for every single member of your gaming clan…you will never last through an entire season. Your legion will think of your leadership abilities as a joke and the community around you will view you as a poorly ran group and trample you. With us though, that has never been the case. Our group has been constantly picked at through systematic usage of the abuse of power in a game based on ranking of undeserving groups of ignorant children, who are only in power for their own gain and the steamrolling of any other group of individuals who just wanted to help someone else out. This in itself is the finest example of exactly what The Sic is here to break down. The Elitist activities of these groups damage the integrity of any ladder or chain of command which nominates people to run the community or at least step forward to defend a much larger group. They care not for the just will of any people lower on the ladder than themselves and instead turn towards their stacks of cash and stat based power to be able to throw their weight around in a contest of who could fills the pockets of the leeches first. The people who are here to actually help, no matter the cost or how much their resources are drained in the process are the real contestants behind the curtains who are starting the fires. These individuals who would stir up the established order are the real heroes in the realm of online play. They move their way through the system, committing to a very “robin hood” like economy that seems to irritate much higher ranking groups for the reason that their credibility is shot when they can no longer obtain any other puppets for their passion play. Now what you must consider, is exactly what your level of care is. The §ic, regarded as a cesspool of unwanted scum is more often than not is looked down upon, as if we were a group of villains who do nothing more but hinder the royalty of the server from completing their depressingly hypocritical agenda. This doesn’t go unnoticed. Every game we spread to and infect…is soon brimming with large portions of the community who learn quickly to not approve of our deeds in any shape or form. We are denied admission to several large-scale events. We are constantly criticized for our ambitions, and we are shunned as part of the group. This is an act that does not go unpunished. Our goal in The §ic is to prohibit the spread of idiocy from one toolbox to the other. The higher ranking clans must be taught not to cast aside the only truly malicious manifestation they have ever encountered. It might very well lead to their imminent demise. So in conclusion children, I’d highly recommend you always keep a close eye over your shoulder; for the wicked do not thrive in a world where the swarm exists. Always remember, you cannot ever successfully eradicate a virus. They will spread, and when they do they will become more powerful and contagious. They might be held back…and they may be contained; as if that could hold it for long…For the deadliest trait about any virus as you may know…is it’s ability to evolve into something more dangerous than you ever thought possible.
