You know what?
« on: October 14, 2011, 02:20:06 AM »

From: Forsaken World.
Reason I left guild in the first place: I found it boring since no one would really be on when I was except for Matt.

I miss you guys. I wanna come back. It really was a mistake to leave. I've joined other guilds, but those guys are fucking boring as fuck. Worse than I'd imagine. I'd have more fun trying to get a senior get a boner without viagra than hang out in those guilds. You guys were by far the coolest and most helpful. Mainly because you guys bring some lulz whereas others would just be boring.

Accept me back as part of the Sic family again! ):

Hmmm...

Now, I'm definitely more than happy to see that you wound up here. That as Anti so eloquently words it is "The first step". However, I am curious as to a few things. Now, you had to know this was coming so please, bear with me. It's only fair seeing as how my first thought was to charge you to get back in, but was convinced otherwise. Now, if you can answer these fair, and verbally abusive questions I'd be more than happy to welcome you back in myself.

The first of which being

1) Why, after I consistently told people how much we value loyalty here did you completely disregard that point to ditch out so non-chalantly?

2) Why, when you wanted back in did you NOT come to me at all? More importantly why did you TELL people that you did after I removed you again?

3) How the fuck do we know you won't flake again after smelling the ass-end of another guild?

and last but not least, because this one is my personal favorite:

4) Can you give me one solid reason to ACTUALLY consider this seeing as how apparently "I'm an asshole and you didn't care about getting back in" before?

With that being said; if you can answer those questions with an adequately crafted response, I'd be completely willing to let you back in. It's only fair, since you came here and filled out the required material. I'm sure I speak for everyone here when I say:

We eagerly await your well-prepared thesis, you disloyal turncoat Carebear!

Love, Link.

1) I wanted to get more out of the game, and I thought I would've gotten so if I hung out with a bigger group of people, hence my departure. As Matt and I kept discussing, we were usually the only ones on, and it was just really quiet, which bothered me. Ironically enough even with guilds that were filled with people, it was quieter than a theater full of deaf and mute people. It basically made me miss the ambiance and socialness (if that's even a word) of the guild. Also, none of them have Vent in which people were active.

ALSO, I understand that this guild if not only for FW, but it's for other games as well. Which makes this guild cool because I do play some of the games other than FW that you guys do. Most guilds I've been with JUST PLAY FW. Not only that, but I noticed that the bigger the guild, the more problems there are: they expect too much from people and we get nothing in return. You guys don't ask for much, which is fucking cool to me.

2) I tried to, but you were either offline, or you ignored me. Though, I do admit that it was my bad for not trying harder to contact you. I guess it was the fact that you just kicked me out that pissed me off and didn't make me wanna talk to you, which is a little immature for my part.

3) See #1. But to recapitulate, all in all, once I left, as I'm wearing my headphones, all I heard was silence... Or my own voice coming from my mic. But trust me, I wouldn't want to leave anymore. You guys really are cooler than anyone else... Not to mention funnier. liek srsly.

4) As mentioned in #2, I was pissed that you kicked me out like that. And then when you told me to go on the "Begging board", I was like "The fuck is this shit? Seriously?". I even asked Matt if he did that, and he confirmed to me that he didn't, which pissed me off even more. I didn't even know that it was part of the protocols. And it made me think that you were a bigger asshole for that.

But I get it: rules are rules. Things HAVE to be done a certain way. But I'm here now, and I'm doing what I can to come back. Although I was against the whole "post on begging board", I concede and did it anyway, because I want to be back.

You're technically correct. We didn't ask for much, except your loyalty (which you proved you lacked, so thank you for that:).)
As for activity: You stated you knew that we played other games, which should auto-mean we aren't always active on FW. If you had a problem with that, which you obviously did, you should've talked to one of the admins. Jake isn't the only one you have to talk to if you have a problem. That's what the Daimyo, Kusemono, Kanrei, even Gosankyo is there for.

rules are rules.

It sounds good. Now let's have some proof to back up that you believe that. You went directly against the code.

I even asked Matt if he did that, and he confirmed to me that he didn't, which pissed me off even more.
What Matt does, and what you do are two totally separate things. He chose not to post here. (He never left.)
You chose to post here, which was your choice, hence "chose to post here". Good try, though.

rules are rules

I didn't even know that it was part of the protocols

I'm beginning to question if you were even part of this clan. Even I knew what the protocols were when I first joined, and I was 14 (two years ago), and not that bright.
Come on, sir. You aren't helping your case here.

Not going to lie, you dug yourself into a hole on this one, buddy.

Good luck.

You're going to need it.

Alright then. You're more than welcome to rejoin the ranks, but bear in mind it's not going to be easy. You're on the probationary period once more until the grace period is up, and we're going to ensure you meant it. If you did, then all shall be forgiven and you'll easily slide right back into position. If not, well...it won't take long to systematically deduce it. I'll let you back in when you get on, but seeing as how I'll be gone for a few days Anti might have to reinvite you. Caysee is also an admin now, so you should be able to get ahold of her as well.

Good luck Cedric. Don't fail us again.
